A hollow ground features a very thin and extremely sharp blade. Due to it's thinner profile, hollow ground knives slice through meat and food product much easier than a regular knife. For this reason they are well loved by Butchers and Knife Hands.
The stiff blade is excellent for cutting through tougher cuts of meats such as beef and pork. Coupled with the hollow ground blade, you will experience a much more comfortable experience deboning and cutting through meats, particularly during long shifts.
No special sharpening methods are required to sharpen a hollow grind knife. We recommending using a sharpening stone or a sharpening system as you would for other styles of knives.
Featuring non-slip handles, an extra-wide thumb rest and the distinctive F.Dick fingerguard design for ergonomic and comfortable use. Dishwasher safe, the handle is sealed around the blade for easy cleaning to stop bacteria and residue build up.
